BSP-Doc in BETA
The BSP level documentation is still incomplete and considered in BETA quality.
Currently the BSP-Doc only covers LAN9662 and LAN9668 (using EVB: UNG8290 and UNG8291).
LAN8814 PHY in BETA
The basic features of LAN8814 is included in this release but considered in BETA.
LAN9662 and LAN9668 switches in BETA
This release has BETA support for LAN9662 and LAN9668 using the UNG8291/EVB-LAN9662-EndNode and UNG8290/EVB-LAN9668-8Port evaluation boards.
Support has been added in U-Boot and Linux kernel. The BSP supports both standalone users where network support is provided using the SwitchDev driver in the kernel, or by using MESA, WebStaX, SMBStaX or IStaX.
The EVB-LAN9668-8Port Eval board uses 2 LAN8814 QSGMII PHYs. This is a PTP/TimeStamp capable PHY, but this release only offers support for the basic features. This means that timestamping will be done in the MAC. This is likely to change in future releases.
